Maharishi Pandit

Maharishi Pandit

A pandit is a scholar in the field of Vedic knowledge, particularly Vedic literature, recitations and Vedic procedures known as Yagyas. Pandits come from a family tradition where knowledge is passed from father to son generation after generation. This oral tradition has been maintained for thousands of years by the Vedic families of India whose task is to be the custodians of this knowledge.

Vedic knowledge is the knowledge of the Veda. The Vedas are the oldest records of knowledge of humanity and the Vedic tradition is therefore the oldest tradition of knowledge in the world.

The Veda is the total Natural Law, the source of all branches of knowledge and all sciences. Its basis is in the transcendental field of creation and therefore it is indestructible and independent of time. The veda, the total knowledge of reality, lives in the depths of each person.

Maharishi trained thousands of pandits in India in Transcendental Meditation and the advanced program of TM-Sidhis, in addition he gave the pandits a special routine and a systematic program for the training of these experts. These techniques and these special programs give rise to the difference between a normal pandit and a “Maharishi pandit”.

Transcendental Meditation is a mental technique that leads the mind to experience transcendental consciousness, pure consciousness, or also known as the “state of samadhi” in vedic terms, in a regular and systematic way, where the person experiences the limitless, the source of the Veda in its unmanifest form, imbuing the mind and body with that experience. The TM-Sidhis program enhances this state of samadhi by developing high states of consciousness and a powerful mind.

Maharishi’s pandits apply this program on a daily basis, so that the Vedic recitations and Yagyas they perform are done from that deeper and more powerful level of consciousness, achieving greater effectiveness.
